Clean Up Litter on the Run with Sabah Plogging Run

Plogging in Sabah: The Latest Running Craze That Helps Take Out The Trash

We don’t know about you, but we’re really fed up with irresponsible diners at Mekdi or Kepci who think that clearing up their trash is someone else’s job when it’s our collective responsibility to keep our environment clean. If you feel the same way, then you’d be happy to know that there are many ways to do good for the environment while having fun, like plogging.

What is Plogging?

Originating in Sweden, it started when solo joggers began picking up trash along their running routes, but it soon became a sociable event amongst runners. It really caught on in 2018, and now it’s the latest fitness craze that improves not only one’s health, but also helps saves the planet.

The great thing about plogging is that it’s not about how fast you are, as it is more of a jog. This means that even if you’re like us, whose only form of exercise is the snack run from the couch to kitchen between Netflix episodes, you would still be able to join in and make a difference.
