Kuala Linggi in Melaka, which spreads across 622.13 acres, will be transformed into an integrated tourism destination known as Malaysia Tourism City (MTC).
MTC will also be partnering with Hasbro, the largest toy maker in the world, to develop the world’s first Hasbro-themed water park. This 20-acre water park will be the anchor of MTC and offer a range of new rides that are not available anywhere else in the world.
With these attractions, MTC is set to become the leading regional tourist destination in Malaysia. The land will also be used for other leisure and entertainment, commercial, retail, residential and public uses.
MTC is expected to bring in an additional 3.5 million visitors to Malaysia once it is completed and fully operational. Details of its scheduled opening will be revealed in due course.
