A trip to Disneyland is always a magical affair and Hong Kong Disneyland is committed to making it more magical (if that’s even possible!) for the coming year and beyond.
Kicking things off is the opening of the Royal Princess Garden debuting in December 2017. Young guests who are fans of the Disney princesses will enjoy this as they will get a royal makeover. There will also be plenty of photo opportunities with your favourite characters at this new attraction.
Chinese New Year Event (January – March 2018)
Hong Kong Disneyland will usher in the Year of the Dog in a big way! And naturally Pluto takes centre stage. Visitors can expect to see Main Street, USA decked out in vibrant festive cheers as Mickey and his friends welcome the New Year. Avid collectors of red packets will find a reason to come here as the park will be giving away Disney-themed red packets during the event!
Disney Friends Springtime Carnival (March – May 2018)
Spring is in the air! It’s a great time to celebrate the blooming of flowers and of course, Easter! There’s going to be more than 100 character-themed eggs hidden around the park for guests to find! Make plans to visit the park around this time especially if you love a good treasure hunt!
If you’re a fan of Moana then we trust you’ll be excited about the Moana-themed entertainment offering at Adventureland, opening in May 2018. It’s an 18-minute live show that tells the story of how Moana helps Te Fiti in restoring her heart and returning to her home village of Motunui.
Summer Event (June – August 2018)
The summer release of The Incredibles 2, the follow-up to the massive blockbuster that was released in 2004, is going to be celebrated in a true superhero fashion. Guests can also meet with their favourite characters from the film including Mr Incredible, Mrs Incredible and Frozone at Tomorrowland.
Halloween (September – October 2018)
Prepare yourself as Hong Kong Disneyland will be taken over by Jack Skellington along with the cast of the Disney villains. It’s going to be a spooky affair as they crash the Disney Halloween Time!
Christmas (November 2018 – January 2019)
Guests dreaming of a white Christmas will experience that at the theme park with actual snow! Plus there will be carollers singing classic Christmas songs and also a tree-lighting ceremony. We’re confident you won’t find the Grinch hanging around here with the Christmas spirit well and alive!
