Klang Valley travellers, rejoice!
In an effort to provide better connectivity from the city to the airports, Rapid Bus recently introduced a shuttle service from the Putra Heights LRT station to KL International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 in Sepang.
Departing every half hour, the 40-minute bus ride from the train station is an addition to major transport hubs connecting Klang Valley to Sepang, namely KL Sentral and Terminal Bersepadu Selatan in Cheras.
This means people in Subang or Puchong will be able to save more time instead of taking a long detour to the other two hubs before heading to the airports.
The RM10 fare serves as a combo for the rail ticket as well. Passengers can buy the ticket at any LRT, MRT, BRT or monorail counter, head to Putra Heights and hop on the shuttle. The fare is the same if you’re from the airport heading to the city.
Definitely a cheaper option than taxi or e-hailing services that could fetch up to RM100.
Adding more to the frequency, JetBus is also available at the same station departing between 60 and 90 minutes. It only costs RM4 for a one-way journey. For details, visit myrapid.com.my.
