Bank Negara Malaysia’s Art Bazaar 2019 Is Back with More Emerging Malaysian Artists

Malaysia has a wealth of talented artists who have yet to get their break, so if you’ve been thinking about getting local, affordable artworks for your home or office, here’s your chance as Bank Negara Museum and Art Gallery is bringing back the 4th edition of the Art Bazaar. An annual showcase of new and emerging artists, the Art Bazaar has featured art made by differently-abled and women artists in previous years.

If you’re starting your own art collection and missed out on all the fun last year, this is your chance to finally take home your first artwork at the bazaar, which will be held from 30 September 2019 to 6 October 2019.

This year, the Art Bazaar features emerging artists from a diverse set of backgrounds and skills such as Amin Daud, Baiti Fauzi, Chong Yoon Pang, Ehlid Luli, Elise Wong, Emir Effendy, Erfann Dannial, Farhan Hussaini, Fariza Bahri, Fathiah Raihanna, Foong Yeng Yeng, Ichie Imran,Izzati Suza, Karen Suyen, Luqman Yusry, Muzzamil Muhktar, and Nadia Alia.

The event will also include different types of art such as landscape, architecture, nature, figurative, calligraphy, print, quilling, abstract and many more. Special programmes such as live demonstrations, art workshops and an art talk will also be conducted for free.

Now here’s the real hook for this event: all the artworks will be selling at MYR1,500 and below!

No matter what your thoughts on art are, it’s always a good investment on your part as we might see some of the artists featured in the event making it big in the future.

Don’t miss your chance to find the artwork that brings life into your home, and support local Malaysian artists by visiting and buying their artworks at this year’s Art Bazaar!
